Responsibilities

You manage PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) improvements and modifications

You are able to manage and modify PLC programs with good skills, in order to perform small and big improvement ideas, in the different lines at Valeo Kanda to improve efficiency and quality

You ensure continuous improvement for serial HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) manual lines and subassembly lines to achieve KPIs (Cycle Time, Parts Per Million, etc.)

You find and study improvement ideas (automation, modifications, etc.) for the assembly lines

You analyze the ideas (Payback) and, if applicable, start the project and manage the project for the different ideas proposed

You are in charge of the continuous analysis of 3 assembly lines

Required

You are graduated from a Master degree in Engineering

You have good skills on PLC software modification to modify the assembly lines in order to apply our current (and future) improvement ideas and get good savings, and improve the efficiency of the line, PLC skills is mandatory

You already have experience in Industrial Engineering (ideally in the automotive field)

You have a fluent level of English and ideally you have a good command of Japanese

You have good communication skills, have an international mindset and are open-minded to new cultures and new ways of working and thinking

You are humble, listening, positive attitude oriented, professional, and have the sense of diplomacy
