Responsibilities
Draft coverage opinions and litigate insurance coverage and bad faith cases
Manage cases through all phases, including motions, discovery, depositions, and court proceedings
Conduct legal research and prepare high-quality written work
Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and provide exceptional service
Collaborate with team members and contribute to strategic case planning
Qualification
Required
Previous law firm experience required; Am Law 200, leading regional, or major boutique firm experience preferred
Juris Doctor (JD) and active Illinois Bar admission
3–10 years of litigation experience, preferably in insurance-related matters
Strong academic credentials and excellent writing skills
Proficient in legal research and oral presentation
Ability to manage cases independently and work collaboratively
Preferred
Experience in insurance coverage and bad faith litigation
Familiarity with first-party property insurance disputes
Ability to travel as needed for client or case-related matters
