Responsibilities

Instructors would be responsible for planning, implementing, and grading formative and summative assessments in lecture and lab
They will also be expected to work with other instructors to ensure alignment between different sections of a course
All courses are managed through an online LMS (Canvas) and instructors are expected to maintain an updated course site throughout the semester

Qualification

Master's degree in BiologyTeaching experienceMulticultural competencePhD in BiologyOnline LMS (Canvas)

Required

Candidates must have a master's degree or ABD in biology or a closely related field
The candidate must actively support the mission of the college by working with faculty, staff and students to share in our core values – truth, compassion, justice, partnership, and community

Preferred

A PhD is preferred
Previous experience teaching at the college level is highly preferred
Candidates must demonstrate multicultural competence – the awareness, knowledge, and skills needed to work with others who are culturally different from self in meaningful, relevant, and productive ways
