Representing the company related all related underwriting related to high net worth underwriting projects for west coast
Extensive liaison with sales/marketing and brokers nationally
Manage a team of underwriting professionals
Regular travel to client sites
Spearhead new and existing business and provide strategic vision for the department
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years+ of underwriting experience with exposure to personal lines
Undergraduate degree
Strong analysis skills and proven strategic initiatives exposure
Solid understanding of finance, financial analysis and insurance markets
Demonstrated ability to develop best-practice underwriting practices
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to travel on a regular basis and work in the office a couple of days/week
