Perform data mining or DOE to deep dive into device failures, provide root cause and solutions

Test development on comprehensive electrical/mechanical systems
Hard disk drive industry R&D experience
Knowledge of DOE, six sigma and basic statistics
Knowledge of physical (magnetic, optical, electrical, and mechanical) properties of thin film materials and devices
Knowledge of semiconductor laser design, fabrication, and characterization
Characterization tools such as AFM, SEM, TEM, XPS, etc
Programming experience in Python, JMP, C/C++, etc
Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering or Materials Science, and 8+ years of experience, or Master's degree in similar degree fields and 6+ years of experience, or PhD in Physics, Academic Research related to Magnetics, Spintronics, or Semiconductor Lasers and 3+ years of experience or equivalent education and experience
