The Hardware Design/Test Engineer will develop and execute test procedures, ensure system performance, and maintain legacy FAA systems.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute development test procedures, executing system test performance and stability test procedures, and Regression/user acceptance test procedures

Developing automated tests using Selenium and/or Playwright

Scripting test tools and test simulators

Use test simulators such as the Simulation Driver Radar Recorder (SDRR)

Required

Practical experience doing technical work, supporting the form, fit, function of hardware

Must have experience maintaining legacy FAA systems, such as IDS

Be knowledgeable with applicable FAA orders, directives, and criteria while designing test procedures, system requirements and evaluations

Excellent interpersonal skills, facilitation, and management skills, written and oral communication skills and analytical skills

Experience working in an Agile environment and participating in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Bachelor's Degree in disciplines involving operating systems software, electronics communications analysis and design, digital engineering, RF engineering, test engineering, networking, mechanical engineering, electronic engineering, physics or related field
