Responsibilities

MIG welding experience

Basic electrical

Use of basic hand tools to install parts and subassemblies

Ability to cut and grind surfaces

Measure and read tape measure with accuracy

Operate a forklift

Listen to and follow training directions from supervisors and team members

Fabricate and assemble parts/components and Medium and Heavy Duty trucks

Troubleshoot malfunctions and preform repairs as needed

Complete quality controls

Accurately records time, cause and correction on Repair Orders

Completes assigned repairs and tasks in a timely and same manner

Study and interpret assembly instructions

Ensure working space is clean and safe

Team oriented and positive attitude

Ability requires a person to bend, twist, and squat, reach in order to perform tasks on truck components

Ability to use mechanical tools such as wrenches, sockets, grips, air tools and other basic shop tools

Ability to climb ladders

Sufficient manual dexterity to operate office equipment (or operate a PC), mechanical tools such as wrenches, sockets, grips, air tools, and other basic shop tools

Ability to lift a minimum of 60 lbs unassisted
