ORBCOMM is a pioneer in IoT technology, seeking a Business Development Representative to drive demand generation and support sales growth across the APAC region. The role involves identifying and qualifying leads, collaborating with the Sales team, and contributing to market expansion.

Responsibilities
Generate new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach
Respond to inbound leads via email and phone to qualify needs and move them forward in the sales cycle
Qualify leads using structured criteria and schedule meetings for the Sales team
Write short, compelling prospecting messages and tailor outreach templates for different audiences
Research potential customers to build targeted lead lists and improve outbound accuracy
Maintain accurate lead statuses, activities, and notes in Salesforce and Account Engagement (Pardot)
Support timely follow-up on campaign, event, and marketing-generated leads
Qualification
Required
2+ years of experience as a BDR or in a similar demand generation or inside sales role
Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required
Strong communication skills with confidence in phone outreach and structured outreach cadences
Experience in using Salesforce is required
Ability to write concise and effective prospecting messages
Preferred
Experience in IoT or supply chain industries is an asset but not required
Leverage AI-enabled tools and automation to support daily tasks and productivity
Commitment to continuous learning in digital and AI literacy
