They are seeking a Junior Electrical Engineer to support the planning, design, and production of electrical engineering for various projects, including lighting and power systems.

Responsibilities

Supports the completion of electrical designs to support firm-wide projects by working with Project Managers (any discipline) and electrical teammates

Supports project managers by providing design calculations, design drawings, and project specifications for the following but not limited to:

Medium/low voltage power distribution systems

Lighting systems

Lightning protection systems

Grounding systems

Communications systems

Electrical equipment design (including switchboards and switchgear)

Selective coordination and arc flash studies

Assist with the electrical designs of multidiscipline projects

Assist with evaluation of project scopes

Assist in companywide Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes

Required

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering

2 years of related experience in Medium/low voltage power distribution systems

2 years of related experience in Grounding systems

2 years of related experience in Lighting systems

2 years of related experience in Communications systems

2 years of related experience in Electrical equipment design (including switchboards and switchgear)

2 years of related experience in Selective coordination and arc flash studies

Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit

All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171
