Qualification
Required
Pursuing a JD degree
Strong legal and analytical skills as well as solid biotechnology background
Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, various search engines
Excellent communication skills
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be enrolled in, or accepted to, an academic program pursuing a Law degree (and be returning to school the semester following the internship)
A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is preferred
Ability to commit to 40 hours per week for a minimum of 10 weeks from the end of May/ June through the beginning of August
Preferred
Undergraduate and/or advanced degree in a STEM major preferred
Experience or coursework in patent law a plus
Demonstrated leadership in areas such as campus activities, clubs, sports, current or previous work, or the community is also preferred
