Helpdesk Technician (Part-Time)
Sumitomo Electric U.S.A. Holdings, Inc. is seeking a part-time Helpdesk Technician to provide IT support within the organization. The role involves assisting with hardware and software issues, managing IT projects, and maintaining desktop systems.
Responsibilities
Assist in resolving hardware/software issues for end users
Work on IT projects as directed by management
Assist in technical upgrading and maintaining desktop systems
Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage
Install hardware (computers, monitors, servers, UPS, routers, switches, etc.)
Manage all equipment and perform periodic inventories as required
Troubleshoot mobile devices, configure new devices
Install and configure computer systems, phone, and applications within the company
Qualification
Required
Studying in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task
Effectively present information and respond to questions from users and business partners
Organizational and time management skills sufficient to independently establish priorities and coordinate and complete competing projects within set timeframes
Work well independently as well as part of a team
