Hose Technician

The Hose Technician will be responsible for receiving and assembling hosing, parts, and equipment while ensuring adherence to customer requirements and maintaining inventory levels.

Responsibilities
Work from bills of lading, packing slips, customer orders, branch requests, written and verbal instructions
Receive and examine condition and count of deliveries; weigh as necessary; indicate acceptance or note discrepancies on bill of lading and sign off. Open containers and verify packing list; mark items; report discrepancies to supervision
Place items on skids, racks, or other locations. Maintain inventory levels of material and supplies and notify appropriate personnel for need to order
Receive order; count, weigh and verify items; report discrepancies; measure and cut proper hose length; assemble unit using fittings and other hardware as directed; inspect to insure adherence to customer requirements
Detect and report faulty equipment, defective material, improper operations, and unusual conditions to supervision. Observe all prescribed safety rules and regulations and maintain work area in a neat and orderly condition
Perform other duties as assigned or directed

Required
Use ordinary arithmetic
Experience working with packing slips, written and verbal instructions, and cutting instruments
Over three years and up to five years' experience
High school diploma
