Pacifica Hotels is seeking a professional Maintenance Engineer to join their team at La Colina Apartments. The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for various maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs while ensuring compliance with company standards and codes.

Responsibilities

Communicate effectively with on-site staff including other maintenance staff and office staff

Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines

Carry equipment

Daily communication with Manager and Assistant Manager through daily meetings. Ensure each day’s activities and problems that occur are communicated to the Manager using approved communication programs and standards

Maintain Daily Work Logs

Display solid knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools and other materials required to perform repair and maintenance tasks

Safely perform all maintenance tasks as directed by the Manager, ensuring all methods, materials and practices meet company standards and local and National codes

Assist other maintenance staff with maintenance issues as directed by the Manager

Clear stoppages; install faucets/garbage disposals/pipes inside and outside walls; water heater repair/replacement; toilet repair/replacement; light electrical work such as installation of light fixtures; outlet repair/replacement; GFI installation; turnover of vacant apartments including installation of appliances, painting/drywall and other maintenance jobs as requested by Manager

Ability to use a computer to log in hours each day including breaks

Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by Management
