Oscar Medical Group is refactoring healthcare and is hiring a Physician to join their Virtual Health Assessment team. The role involves supervising Advanced Practice Providers providing health assessment services via telemedicine without direct patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Other duties as assigned

Qualification

Board-certification in Internal MedicineSupervision experience of Nurse Practitioners3+ years outpatient experienceUnderstanding of risk adjustmentHEDIS measuresTelemedicine experienceIMLCC eligibilityFluent in Spanish

Required

Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
Must live in Georgia
Must have an active state license in Georgia
3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice
Strong understanding of risk adjustment methodologies, including HCC coding principles
Familiarity with HEDIS measures, including their role in quality improvement and performance measurement

Preferred

2+ years of Telemedicine experience
Fluent in Spanish
IMLCC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) physician license or eligible for IMLCC
Licensed in OMG states: MI, IL, CT, PA, NC, OK, VA, TX, FL, OH, TN, MO
