Mid LevelDMOS Orthopaedic Centers is seeking a part time MRI Technologist to provide quality orthopaedic MRI scans. The role involves working closely with patients to ensure a comfortable experience and collaborating with the administrative team and fellow MRI Techs.

Responsibilities
Acting as the patient's kind guide and reliable helper during their appointment
Being on your feet when greeting and preparing patients for their MRI scans before operating the MRI machine to capture high-quality images
Time to review images and make any necessary adjustments before sending them to the radiologist
This is a private practice where you’ll have access to ask questions of the care team if you need any clarification
Reaching, stooping, and walking to prepare the MRI machine for each patient scan
A small, close-knit team of professionals you can rely on who work closely with our doctors and staff to provide patient care we are proud of
Scheduling: Ability to provide a reliable PRN schedule
Qualification
Required
An active radiology tech license and permit to practice in good standing in the state of Iowa
Ability to communicate calmly and provide reassurance when patients are nervous
Practice the art of listening, asking clarifying questions, and avoiding interrupting your patient
Ability to keep yourself focused and know when to ask for help
Ability to provide a reliable PRN schedule
