Responsibilities

Oversee and conduct complex quality control tests on raw materials, in-process materials and finished products

Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure optimal performance and calibrate according to SOPs to maintain accuracy

Support TT and method validation activities including execution

Identify and resolve issues with analytical instrumentation in compliance with quality standards

Compile, interpret, and document statistical data from testing processes to confirm compliance with established quality standards or identify deviations

Work with project teams to integrate analytical results into project plans

Mentor and train junior quality control staff

Required

Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology or related discipline

2-5 years of experience in an analytical laboratory, preferably in pharmaceutical quality control

Proficiency with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques including chromatography (Waters HPLC & Empower 3), UPLC, IEF, SDS, pH, TOC, Protein concentration etc
