1+ years expDon’s Appliances is seeking an entry level Cosmetic Technician, responsible for the cosmetic repair and restoration of household appliances. This includes fixing dents, scratches, and other surface damage to ensure appliances look and function like new.

Responsibilities
Inspect appliances for cosmetic damage and determine the best method for repair
Order replacement parts and quote repairs for non-warranty customers
Replace or repair damaged parts such as handles, panels, doors, and trim
Use specialized tools and equipment for cosmetic repairs
Complete repairs at a high standard of quality and within established time frames
Maintain accurate records of repairs and parts used
Communicate effectively with customers and team members about repair progress and any issues encountered
Test repaired appliances to confirm correct and safe operation
Assist Service Department with additional tasks as needed
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Proficiency in using repair tools and equipment
Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
Strong mechanical and problem-solving skills
The ability to work independently
Good communication skills and customer service orientation
Legibly complete all paperwork
Follow company procedures and protocols
Operate a company vehicle in a safe manner
Strong computer proficiency, including email
Physical stamina and dexterity and be able to lift and maneuver heavy appliances
Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a field requiring mechanical assembly/disassembly of components
Proven experience in the service industry interacting directly with customers
Valid Driver's License required
Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to lift and maneuver heavy appliances or components (up to 50 lbs.), stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods
