Responsibilities
You’ll help develop and evolve a dynamic, risk-based audit plan for Zurich Cover-More and related Zurich Global Ventures entities
You’ll apply sound professional judgement to determine audit scope, key risks, and the right testing approaches, working closely with the Chief Auditor
You’ll deliver high-quality audits on time and within budget, collaborating with technical Centers of Excellence and leveraging Data Analytics, IT fundamentals, and GenAI tools
You’ll prepare and deliver clear, impactful audit reports that articulate findings, root causes, business impact, and agreed actions to senior management
You’ll build strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders across Zurich Cover-More and Zurich Group, maintaining open and constructive dialogue throughout the audit process
You’ll foster a culture of continuous learning, growth, and experimentation—developing yourself, coaching audit team members, and role-modelling curiosity and adaptability
You’ll contribute to co-building a leading, future-focused audit function by applying innovative audit approaches and supporting collaboration across all audit levels and regions
Qualification
Required
10+ years of Internal Audit, Risk, or Compliance experience in the insurance industry, or 8+ years in insurance business roles with strong exposure to risks and controls
Relevant bachelor's or master's degree, or relevant qualification (CPA, CIA, CISA or equivalent, MBA or equivalent an asset)
Strong knowledge of travel insurance or the ability to quickly understand its unique operational and risk dynamics
Deep understanding of Internal Audit Standards, audit methodology, and internal control frameworks, including strong report writing skills
Experience operating within complex, fast-moving, global organizations and navigating varying levels of audit maturity
Excellent relationship management, influencing, and stakeholder engagement capabilities across all seniority levels
Strong project leadership skills, with the ability to organize teams, prioritize effectively, and coach others to deliver high-quality audit outcomes
Meaningful experience or strong aptitude with new world skills such as Data Analytics, IT fundamentals, and GenAI-enabled audit techniques
Collaborative, flexible, and growth-oriented mindset, with enthusiasm for developing both yourself and those around you
