Senior Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer (Azure) - Software
Truelogic is a leading provider of nearshore staff augmentation services headquartered in New York, focused on delivering technology solutions to help companies achieve their digital transformation goals. They are seeking a Senior Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain hybrid infrastructure, focusing on Azure cloud services and DevOps automation to ensure high availability and performance across platforms.

Responsibilities
Manage and optimize Azure services, including Windows VMs, Azure SQL Managed Instances, AKS, Cosmos DB, Event Hub, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, Key Vault, Synapse
Support and maintain Elastic Search, RabbitMQ, and Consul
Oversee on-prem infrastructure, including Hyper-V clusters, SQL Server clusters, Storage Spaces, Barracuda Load Balancer, ExpressRoute, SilverSky-managed security stack
Administer and enhance monitoring tools, including Splunk, DataDog, and the in-house alerting system (Rasputin)
Develop alerting strategies and dashboards to ensure proactive issue detection
Drive CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps, Octopus Deploy, and Argo CD on AKS
Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment pipelines and improve release velocity
Lead technical initiatives from planning through execution
Develop infrastructure roadmaps and project plans
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of operational excellence
Apply hands-on monitoring and observability practices to ensure system stability and visibility
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, with a strong preference for Azure environments
Strong understanding of Kubernetes, SQL Server, and networking fundamentals
Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk and DataDog
Proficiency with DevOps tools and practices
Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is required
Hands-on experience with Terraform, including its current use for provisioning Kubernetes-related accounts and the ability to expand and scale its usage
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional technical projects
Strong planning, documentation, and communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills with a collaborative and team-oriented mindset
Familiarity with hybrid environments that combine on-premises and cloud infrastructure
