The successful candidate will be involved in teaching at the graduate level, developing a research program, and contributing to the department and university's operations.

Responsibilities

Build large-scale collaborative partnerships and programs among academia, governmental agencies, industry, and research institutions

Teach courses at primarily graduate levels

Develop an internationally-recognized, externally-funded research program

Contribute to the operation and promotion of the department, college, university, and profession through service

Qualifications appropriate for an appointment as a tenure-track/tenured Associate Professor or Professor in the College of Engineering

Excellent sustained record of obtaining defense-related research funding

Strong track record of teaching and advising graduate students

Ability to obtain a government security clearance

U.S. citizenship

Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen
