Human Resources Generalist
LHH is seeking a Human Resources Generalist who will manage site-level payroll and HR operations as the primary HR contact. This role involves processing payroll, maintaining employee records, supporting recruitment efforts, and ensuring compliance across various HR functions.

Responsibilities
Process and review weekly payroll data, including garnishments, time off, and deductions
Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS system
Support recruitment efforts and attend job fairs
Coordinate onboarding activities, including drug screenings and background checks
Respond to HR, benefits, and wellness inquiries
Ensure compliance across the employee lifecycle (hiring, training, leaves, terminations, retirements)
Manage Workers’ Compensation claims and reporting
Generate HRIS reports for leadership
Conduct weekly rounds to maintain HR visibility and engagement
Collaborate with corporate HR and payroll teams on process improvements
Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree required
Strong payroll and HRIS knowledge
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRMS platforms
Strong organizational and time management skills
Preferred
Experience with union workforce preferred
