This role involves designing and developing industrial control systems, collaborating with mechanical engineers, and generating technical documentation for custom automation systems across multiple industries.

Responsibilities

Design and develop industrial control systems , including PLC/HMI programming, power distribution, and automation architectures

Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electromechanical systems , design layouts, and ensure system performance

Create electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD Electrical and similar tools

Validate and troubleshoot systems during build and commissioning (minimal travel)

Generate technical documentation including BOMs, test procedures, and manuals

Qualification

Industrial machinery experiencePLC programmingAutoCAD Electrical proficiencyMachine safety standards knowledgeSystem-level design experienceMentoring junior engineersCommunication skills

Required

Experience in Industrial machinery / equipment, industrial automation, or electromechanical systems

Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical

Knowledge of machine safety standards

Experience in system-level design, motion control, and mechanical system integration

Strong communication skills and ability to mentor junior engineers

Preferred

PLC exposure or programming (Rockwell, Siemens preferred, not required)
