Responsibilities
Investigate design build issues and develop structural engineering installation solutions
Author temporary engineering to resolve build issues in a timely manner
Learn about dispositioning aircraft non-conformances including rework instructions
Perform aircraft and engineering drawing investigation and coordination with affected engineering disciplines, Quality Assurance and operations manufacturing representatives
Help design Flight Test engineering change requests and coordinate with work package owners
Author engineering to define structural special instructions or restrictions
Qualification
Required
You must be working toward a bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Aeronautical Engineering or a related discipline
You must be in your Junior (3rd) year
You have a GPA of 3.0 or higher
You must have taken an introductory to CATIA V5 class or equivalent (Solid Works, etc.)
You must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
You must be a highly motivated, self-starter
You must have proficiency with MS Office tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. All other computer systems and software are a plus
You must be eligible to receive ITAR clearance (US Citizen or Green Card holder)
Preferred
Any aircraft or manufacturing experience is an asset
