Responsibilities
Deliver expertise concerning sourcing of Managed Services, including application development, network services, service desk, wireless services, etc
Develop initial procurement documentation and contract schedules templates (including, but not limited to, RFP, Statement of Work, Service Level Agreement, Governance Schedule, Fees Schedule, Definitions Schedule, Inventory Schedule, Standards Schedule, Transition Schedule, Policies Schedule, Reporting Schedule, etc., and Master Services Agreement)
Provide legal analysis and advice to the City Attorney and the Department of IT relating to contractual issues
Responsible for leading engagement during the contract negotiations phase
Plan and schedule milestone procurement meetings (including, but not limited to, RFP response reviews, evaluation meetings, vendor presentations, etc.)
Attend meetings in person in San Diego when required
Perform duties in San Diego or remotely
Qualification
Required
U.S. Citizenship
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field
Minimum of 10 years providing IT expertise/consulting to public agencies
