Responsibilities
Lead and manage traffic studies, impact analyses, and traffic operations assessments for a variety of projects
Conduct and oversee data collection, traffic modeling, and analysis using industry-standard software and methodologies
Collaborate with other engineers, drafters, and designers to prepare the required design, specifications, and details for assigned projects
Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of large to medium multidisciplinary projects or medium to small-sized projects
Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and costs for constructing capital improvement projects
Lead the preparation of engineering reports
Coordinate quality review processes
Assist in field engineering and inspection as needed
Perform assignments with instructions as to the general results expected
Maintain a positive working relationship with all levels of the organization
Maintain professional registration
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
8+ years of experience in traffic, transportation, or a related engineering field
Traffic Engineer (TE) License in California
Experience with traffic engineering for Municipal clients in California
Experience using Synchro, VISSIM, and/or other traffic analysis software applications
Experience with SharePoint
Proficiency using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Skilled in technical writing, communicating, and presenting to clients and the public
An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our culture
Knowledge of civil design
