Responsibilities
Perform and manage point-to-point wiring terminations, checkouts, and drawing markups
Assist with device setup and installation per specifications and project drawings
Calibrate and start up field instrumentation and valve actuators
Perform checkout and start-up of control systems (DCS, PLC, etc.) and networks
Troubleshoot control systems at network, controller, I/O, and device levels
Set up and troubleshoot PC workstations
Provide technical assistance and support for customer contracts, including emergency response and preventive maintenance
Qualification
Required
Associate degree (HVAC, MET, EET) with 2+ years of relevant experience
Hands-on with DCS, PLC, HMI, and/or DDC systems
Knowledge of networks (Ethernet, Modbus, BACnet serial/TCP)
Ability to read P&IDs, wiring diagrams, and electrical/mechanical drawings
Strong troubleshooting skills and effective communication
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work near high electrical currents
Variable travel, typically Monday–Friday, based on project and customer needs
Ability to navigate stairs, walk briskly, and lift up to 50 lbs
Preferred
BS in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Electro-Mechanical preferred)
Experience with Emerson DeltaV, WonderWare, and Rockwell
