Recuperative Care Programs Director
Curry Senior Center is dedicated to providing support and care for individuals experiencing homelessness. The Recuperative Care Programs Director will oversee all aspects of the Recuperative Care program, including staff recruitment, operational management, and ensuring compliance with healthcare standards.

Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of the department, which operates 24 hours/day 7 days/week
Practice and reinforce the mission, vision and values of the organization
Recruit, interview, hire, and orient all direct reports
Maintain appropriate staffing levels
Ensure compliance with Managed Care Programs and Community Support provider contract(s)
Assign duties and work schedules to direct reports and provide on-site guidance of established procedures
Review and approve timecards, including time off requests. Make appropriate edits, when needed
Maintain job descriptions and evaluation criteria for all direct reports and conduct formal written evaluations, using the appropriate tools provided by HR
Provide support, direction, and leadership to team members and assist them with any questions or problems
Monitor overtime, doubletime, and missed meal breaks. If abuse is apparent, meet with employee(s) to discuss. If abuse continues, work with HR for disciplinary actions
Address any performance problems and, if necessary, handle terminations in accordance with established company guidelines
Resolve conflicts in a timely manner with the consultation and support of HR
Maintain OSHA standards
Responsible for the collection of data and reporting via various software programs
Hold and facilitate regular team meetings
Oversee program budget and ensure that projects are completed on time and in budget
Provide initial and on-going training to team members
Provide solutions to issues that develop
Assist in the completion of grant applications, RFP’s and RFQ’s
Provide support, direction, and leadership to team and assist with any questions and/or problems
Assist with Case Management and provide for patient needs, as required and in accordance with clinical licensing
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Masters' degree in healthcare and/or licensed healthcare professional
Minimum of 5 years' experience managing staff in healthcare setting, a minimum of 2 years managing a clinic or program
Experience working in City of San Francisco safety net including work with individuals experiencing homelessness
Self-starter, capable of managing staff and giving direction to others and work under pressure in certain cases
Proof of negative or inactive TB required. Curry Senior Center will provide or reimburse for the cost of a TB test after an offer of employment has been accepted by both parties. Proof of a negative TB test within 90 days will also be accepted
Ability to oversee the complex requirements of a healthcare program, in particular, the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, direct reports, and patients
Effective oral and written communications skills with the ability to express ideas in a clear, thorough, concise manner
Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Solid aptitude for customer service
High degree of skill in grammar, spelling and punctuation
Ability to maintain the confidentiality of all information obtained
Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workflow
High level of analytical problem-solving skills
Excellent time management skills, including the ability to manage self-development
Must be action-oriented and have the ability to work independently and as a team player
Strong computer skills such as Chrome, Google suite, Apple iOS, Office suite
