Panera Bread is seeking a Director, Strategic HR Business Partner to serve as a trusted advisor to executive team leaders. This role focuses on driving the development and execution of HR strategies that align with business objectives and fostering strong partnerships to support organizational success.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary HR business partner for assigned executive leaders and their teams, offering proactive planning, coaching, and HR expertise

Collaborate with assigned teams to integrate company-wide HR initiatives into business strategies

Partner with leadership to implement talent management, compensation, learning and development, and benefits strategies aligned with organizational goals

Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, ensuring strong associate relations and engagement

Provide strategic guidance on workforce planning, policy interpretation, and change management to support business transformation

Serve as a consultant on employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent practices

Support leadership in succession planning, talent acquisition strategies, and development programs without direct oversight of HRBP teams

Ensure HR programs, practices, and processes are consistent and aligned across the organization

Required

Bachelor's Degree or a combination of education and experience

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels

Preferred

Professional HR certification preferred (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR)
