Responsibilities

Documenting and reporting system discrepancies and efforts to remediate

Supporting a team of Engineers permanently deployed to several CONUS and OCONUS locations

Performing security baselining

Managing containerized applications

Providing technical briefs to Government representatives

Generating technical documentation, architecture, and after-action reports

Troubleshooting Linux systems deployed in development and production environments

Communicating effectively within the Intelligence Community and DoD

Conducting cyclical inventory and maintain account of Program hardware

Ability to lift equipment up to 50 pounds in weight

Required

B.S. degree in Computer Science/Engineering, or a related Information Technology field with 8 years of Linux systems engineering experience

In lieu of a CS/IT degree, 10 years of Linux systems engineering experience

Active TS/SCI security clearance (Must be willing to sit for a Counterintelligence (CI) Poly)

Active DoD 8140 Level II Baseline Certification

Experience utilizing containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) and orchestration frameworks (e.g. Kubernetes)

Experience with Ansible, Puppet or similar tools

An individual with proven ability to work and collaborate with a software development team

Ability to travel to CONUS/OCONUS locations as needed

Preferred

TS/SCI (+CI Poly) security clearance

Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

Experience designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise level systems
