Responsibilities

Create controller software, configure BAS/EMS/security systems, design system architectures, and develop intuitive operator graphics and dashboards
Implement sequences of operation, integrate third-party systems (HVAC, lighting, power, access control), and support installation, startup, and commissioning
Prepare quotes, drawings, and documentation; manage scope, schedule, and budget; coordinate with internal teams and external partners
Provide technical assistance, resolve field issues, deliver training, and communicate project status
Apply value engineering, standardize templates, and drive process improvements for reliability and performance

Required

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
4–7 years in building automation/controls or related MEP projects, including hands-on programming and integration
Proficiency in BAS/EMS programming, controller configuration, network setup, and open protocols (BACnet, Modbus, Lon)
Knowledge of HVAC systems and energy management
Ability to plan, sequence, and manage materials, vendors, and subcontractors
Strong written and verbal skills; customer-focused with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
Comfortable working on active construction sites and traveling as needed
Minimum Management Experience - 5 years
Minimum Functional Experience – 3 years
