The AI Platforms Engineer is a hands-on technical expert responsible for building, automating, and maintaining the AI Kitchen 2.0, enabling productivity for all AI builders at Globe by translating strategic business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure AI platforms and toolkits deployed on the cloud.

Responsibilities

Architectural Design: Design the end-to-end architecture for the AI C4E platforms, including landing zones, security perimeters, and multi-cloud integrations

Platform Implementation: Build and deploy core platform components, including CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and serverless functions

Technology Evaluation: Lead the evaluation and selection of core technologies, including LLM-based services, data stores, and CI/CD pipelines

Tool & Kit Development: Implement standardized AI kits and reusable modules for common use cases like chatbots and RAG applications, using frameworks like LangChain

Infrastructure Management: Automate the provisioning and maintenance of AI landing zones on AWS and GCP using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC)

Performance & Reliability: Monitor platform health, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resource usage for performance and cost efficiency

Governance Automation: Implement automated security and Responsible AI checks into the platform's build and deployment processes

Collaboration: Work with the advocacy team to understand user needs and integrate new tools that accelerate their work. Also work with cloud and technology partners to stay abreast of new services and influence product roadmaps
