Responsibilities

Teaching up to eight undergraduate and graduate courses per year in areas such as financial accounting, managerial accounting, auditing, taxation, or data analytics
Maintaining regular office hours and academic advising
Supporting student learning through mentorship and feedback
Engaging in committee work, professional engagement, or advising student organizations

Required

Master's degree in Business, Accounting or Finance
Ability to teach accounting or data analytics courses, as demonstrated by prior teaching or work experience
Six years of teaching courses related to business post receipt of degree
Twelve years of teaching courses related to business post receipt of degree
Have a substantial basis of experience equal to a tenured professor (normally a minimum of 12 years) and a national/international reputation for excellence reflected in a record of significant accomplishments
Have a profile of accumulated professional accomplishments fully congruent with the rank of professor
Have a rich and extensive background in a field and discipline relevant to the school, college, or unit of appointment at the University of Oregon
Can serve as a liaison between the professional field and the University of Oregon
Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills are required
Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds
Demonstrated interest, experience and/or ability to promote cultural competency and/or diversity

Preferred

Experience teaching at both undergraduate and graduate level
PhD in Accounting
Experience in managing a program serving academic or business practitioners in accounting and/or finance
