IT Specialist

They are hiring an IT Specialist to provide desktop and mobile support, manage onboarding and offboarding processes, and administer cloud applications while driving continuous improvement in employee support.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on support for Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoints, including laptops, peripherals, and office equipment
Diagnose and resolve OS, driver, and application issues, with clear and empathetic communication
Company supported mobile application support for remote and hybrid employees
Ensure secure, reliable access to company resources from remote locations
Create simple guides and self-serve resources for common mobile workflows
Own the end-to-end experience, including hardware provisioning, account creation, access configuration, and in-person new hire setup
Coordinate timely offboarding, including device collection, access revocation, and data handling
Maintain clear, up-to-date tips, checklists and guides
Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and streamline employee support
Contribute to documentation, FAQs, and standards to improve consistency and speed
Collaborate with the broader IT team on projects and initiatives
Help administer common SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Notion, and others
Assist with app provisioning and group membership changes
Exposure to identity standards such as SSO and SCIM, partnering with senior teammates on integrations

Required

3+ years in an IT Support or similar experience with strong endpoint support responsibilities
Demonstrated experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Linux desktops
Proven troubleshooting for laptops, monitors, printers, peripherals, and common business software
Experience supporting remote users and mobile devices, ideally with an MDM solution
Familiarity with administering common SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Okta Identity Management
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a bias for clear documentation and follow-through
A genuine passion for technology and continuous learning

Preferred

Experience with identity and access concepts including SSO and SCIM
Exposure to endpoint management tools
Basic scripting for automation, such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python
Familiarity with cloud directory services environments
