Construction Engineering & Inspection Project Manager
Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Project Manager who will play an active role in building their Construction Engineering & Inspection team in Texas. This role involves managing multi-disciplined projects, building client relationships, and overseeing project activities to ensure successful completion.

Responsibilities
Manage multi-disciplined projects for TXDOT and other public agencies
Provide project management for all Construction Inspection projects
Build and maintain client relationships
Achieve or exceed the financial goals for the project
Organize cross-functional activities, and coordinate project activities for the completion of the project (i.e., project deliverables, schedule and budget)
Management and oversight of plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports and preparing final bid packages for state highway and interchange improvement projects
Provide guidance for inspection staff, review, recommend and process change orders, partial payments and closeout of projects
Review shop drawings for horizontal & vertical alignments, drainage plans, construction staging/traffic control plans, signing & pavement markings plans, utility coordination, sub-consultant coordination, and preparation of right-of-way plans for various type of projects and clients
Establish working relationships and interfacing with client technical staff and project managers
Participate in project decisions regarding technical approaches, cost and schedule performance
Prepare technical and cost proposals
Supervise staff, including hiring, scheduling, assigning work, reviewing performance, and recommends salary increases, promotions, transfers, demotions, or terminations
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering preferred
8+ years of transportation engineering experience with strong technical skills in construction required
Possess a good understanding of project contract terms and conditions is expected
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions
Preferred
PE license preferred
Formal training in project management preferred
Prior experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
