Responsibilities

Work directly with our clients to gather requirements, design and architect a robust SAP solutions using our product, DocuFlow
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality backend solutions in Java
Design, implement, and maintain Java-based backend systems and APIs
Optimize and enhance existing backend infrastructure for improved performance, stability and scalability
Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions
Contribute to the entire development lifecycle, maintaining high standards for code, technical documentation and deliverables
Work in an agile development environment
Stay current with industry trends and technologies to propose innovative solutions

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
8+ years in a Backend Development Java role with solid understanding of J2EE technologies
Strong proficiency in Java and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.)
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
Experience writing technical documentation and software architecture
Knowledge of database design and optimization (SQL, NoSQL)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work in an independent and collaborative work environment

Preferred

Experience with microservices architecture
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools
Previous experience in a managed services environment
