They are seeking an experienced Outside Sales Representative for their Los Angeles market specializing in tankless and heat pump water heaters, responsible for in-home consultations, educating homeowners, and closing sales while ensuring a high-quality customer experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct in-home consultations with prospective customers to assess needs and recommend tankless and heat pump water heating solutions

Provide expert product knowledge and demonstrate the value of energy-efficient water heating systems

Build and maintain strong relationships with homeowners, ensuring a professional and trustworthy experience

Accurately prepare quotes, proposals, and contracts for prospective customers

Meet or exceed regional sales goals and KPIs

Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, leads, and sales activities in the company CRM system

Collaborate with installation teams to ensure smooth project handoffs and exceptional customer satisfaction

Stay informed of industry trends, competitor products, and technological advancements in water heating systems

Participate in regional sales meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development

Required

Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in direct-to-consumer in-home sales, preferably in home services or related industries

General knowledge of home plumbing systems and water heater installation processes

Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

Professional appearance and demeanor with the ability to build trust and rapport with homeowners

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel within assigned territory

Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule based on customer appointments

Proficiency in using CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (or equivalent tools)

Valid and active CA State Driver's License with insurable driving record [You must be at least 25 years of age, have driven 2+ years and have a good driving record.]
