Samsung Austin Semiconductor is a leader in advanced semiconductor technology, dedicated to innovation. The GCS Central Control Room Operator will monitor and ensure the safe supply of gas and chemicals to the manufacturing facility, focusing on operational continuity and safety performance.

Marketing & Advertising

Responsibilities

Maintaining accurate situational awareness of operations and maintenance in GCS areas
Overseeing the immediate corrective actions and for any safety or quality of supply issues
Aiding in the development of response guides, procedures, and training to improve operations
Participating in Samsung’s Safety Drill program; and participate in group safety and quality meetings
Participating in safety initiatives, programs, and activities to drive world class safety performance

Required

Technical associates or equivalent related training
2+ years of related experience
Strong technical skills and the ability to represent the group in work coordination and execution
4+ years of chemical or gas delivery operations experience; semiconductor facility support preferred
Prior experience with systems troubleshooting experience and strong mechanical aptitude
Aptitude for documentation and data analysis
Familiarity with design and installation of gas and chemical equipment including piping systems and facility support equipment
Prior experience working with Microsoft Office tools (excel, PowerPoint, word, etc.)
