Industrial Automation Instructor
Interstates is a company dedicated to quality work in electrical, controls, automation, and OT for industrial facilities. They are seeking a dynamic Technical Instructor to lead hands-on training and develop impactful learning experiences for their Automation and Operational Technology teams.

Responsibilities
Develop and deliver technical training programs across industrial automation, controls, OT, and networked systems
Create engaging instructional content, including course outlines, lab activities, and training aids
Deliver training through various methods—classroom, hands-on labs, e-learning, and real-world scenarios
Support apprenticeship and certification programs, ensuring content aligns with evolving industry and customer needs
Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve curriculum and delivery methods
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vendor certifications and ensure compliance with accreditation standards
Identify new training opportunities and support ongoing learning through conferences, workshops, and industry engagement
Qualification
Required
3-5 years' field experience in Industrial Automation and/or Operational Technology along with experience in training/educating adults and/or employee development
Excellent public speaking ability and an ease in moderating small and large groups
Excellent personal leadership and communication skills
Commitment to employee and self-development
Operational knowledge of databases and spreadsheets
Preferred
Associate's degree (A. A.) from two-year college with relative background in Industrial Automation, Operational Technology, or Instrumentation
