Responsibilities
Lead exploratory and statistical analyses of clinical, genetic, and claims data to uncover key drivers of patient outcomes and cost efficiency
Develop and maintain automated dashboards and reporting pipelines using Looker
Build, optimize, and document SQL queries and Databricks workflows to support scalable analytics
Deliver clear, actionable reports to cross-functional stakeholders including technical, clinical, and executive teams
Partner with client-facing teams to present findings via visual storytelling and participate in data review meetings with clients and partners
Stay current on modern data analytics practices, particularly in cloud data engineering, data visualization, and healthcare informatics
Proactively identify opportunities to enhance data architecture, reporting efficiency, and automation
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Health Informatics, or Computer Science (or related field)
5+ years of experience as a healthcare data analyst, working with medical and pharmacy claims data
2+ years of hands-on experience in the Databricks ecosystem, including Data Lake and Spark SQL
Experience creating dashboards and visualizations using Looker (LookML experience preferred)
Demonstrated ability to analyze large-scale datasets (millions of records) and translate data into clear business insights
Strong attention to detail, analytical rigor, and ability to communicate complex findings effectively
Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with Jupyter Notebooks for analysis and documentation
Preferred
Working knowledge of Python for data manipulation and automation
Experience with AWS cloud data platforms
Exposure to predictive modeling or advanced analytics within healthcare data
