Responsibilities
Perform complex application, administration, development, and support work on the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems in support of SCADA controlled operations functions within the Department of Utility Services (DUS)
Provide project and program leadership to professional and technical staff
Perform related duties as required
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a field closely related to the work
Six (6) years of experience in supporting and developing process control applications and systems, designed to support utility services or other similar environments. This experience must have included structured programming and enterprise administration
Must possess and maintain a valid Nevada or 'border state' driver's license, as defined by NRS 483
An equivalent combination of related training and experience may be considered
Preferred
Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD)
Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE) – Server Infrastructure
Visual Studio certification
C# Specialist examination proficiency in programming
Wonderware certifications in System Platform, Historian, and InTouch
