The Staff Internal Auditor will assist the Internal Audit team in designing and implementing audit processes, performing audits, and making recommendations to enhance business processes.

Responsibilities

Assist in all phases of the audit process, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting

Assist in risk assessments and identify key controls

Perform testing procedures, analyze data, and document findings

Draft clear, concise, and well-supported audit findings and provide recommendations

Assist in the development and maintenance of audit work papers

Maintain strong working relationships with auditees

Basic understanding of AI concepts and willingness to explore application in audit processes using AI-powered audit tools (e.g. ServiceNow Assist, Microsoft Teams)

Assist in the development and implementation of audit programs

Stay abreast of industry best practices, regulatory changes, and emerging risks

Support special projects and ad-hoc requests as needed

Required

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Strong ethical principles and a commitment to professional integrity

Preferred

Prior internship or relevant work experience in auditing or a related field

Knowledge of accounting principles

Relevant certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA) are a plus

Experience with SAP or similar Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems

Experience with data analysis software including ACL and Microsoft PowerBi

Prior international business experience with second language skills in Japanese
