Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor in Cybersecurity

They are seeking a Visiting Assistant/Associate Professor in Cybersecurity to teach courses, conduct research, and contribute to the department's cybersecurity program and research portfolio.

Responsibilities
Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in computer science and related disciplines
Conduct high-quality cybersecurity research and actively collaborate with established departmental research teams
Contribute to the development and execution of externally funded research projects
Participate in academic advising, curriculum development, departmental governance, and university service
Support efforts to attain and maintain NSA/DHS National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity designation and ABET accreditation
Engage in professional service and community outreach activities aligned with the department’s mission
Qualification
Required
Candidates must have a doctoral degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines with a focus on Cybersecurity
An earned doctorate or the highest appropriate credential in the field of specialization, or experience and achievements comparable to the doctorate
A record of scholarship and professional growth
At least five (5) years of full-time teaching experience in an institution of higher education, including three (3) years as an Assistant Professor. (Community college experience preferred). Appropriate professional experience and achievements may be substituted when formal teaching experience is limited or absent
An appropriate terminal degree or agree to complete this degree within a period of time to be specified in the terms of the initial contract
At least three (3) years of full-time teaching experience, including two (2) years in an institution of higher education. Appropriate professional experience and achievements may be substituted when formal teaching experience is limited or absent. When formal teaching experience is limited or absent, the candidate shall be required to demonstrate verifiable potential for effective teaching
