Qualification
Required
Law degree
0-2 years of legal experience
Ability to draft amicus briefs
Independence and initiative in the brief-writing process
Research skills
Legal writing skills
Ability to communicate with party counsel
Willingness to assist in editing and writing for Cato strategic initiatives
Currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
Preferred
Applicants are encouraged to take the bar exam before beginning employment
