Business Intelligence Lead
CJP is a philanthropic organization at the heart of Greater Boston's Jewish community. The Business Intelligence Lead is responsible for transforming complex business needs into actionable insights through data analysis, reporting, and dashboard development, while collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver impactful data solutions.

Responsibilities
Leading the execution of the BI strategy, aligning it with organizational goals, and identifying future capability needs
Driving a group of professionals to achieve program goals and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
The ability to create compelling narratives from data, presenting complex insights in an understandable and engaging way to diverse audiences, fostering data-driven decision-making
Skilled at building rapport, managing expectations, fostering collaboration, and resolving conflicts with stakeholders across various departments and organizational levels
Ability to use a deep understanding of strategy and goals to design, prioritize, and estimate plans to complete workstreams to, in alignment with agile principles, deliver program goals
Designing data models, developing and managing data pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into data warehouses for analysis
Creating interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to visualize key performance indicators (KPIs) and trends for different business units
Conducting deep-dive analysis of complex datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that provide valuable business insights
Ensuring data quality, accuracy, and consistency by implementing data validation processes and maintaining data governance standards
Proficiency in SQL, data warehousing concepts and tools, data visualization solutions, programming languages
Deep appreciation and understanding of data security and classification
Address stakeholder and system support, maintenance, and training needs

Qualification
Required
Bachelor in relevant field preferred
5+ years of experience working with complex data, with a proven ability to independently analyze, interpret, and deliver insights that drive business decisions
2+ years of demonstrated experience leading, designing, and delivering a business intelligence program
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of business processes and key performance indicators
Experience with data warehousing and BI tools
Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
Programming skills in SQL and potentially other languages
Understanding of key technology solutions and ongoing commitment to awareness and research of emerging technology, systems, features, software, and best practices
Maturity, flexibility, and the ability to focus on detail while handling multiple tasks and working with diverse personalities
Ability to manage confidential information sensitively and appropriately
Ability to be flexible and adaptable to changes and shifting priorities
Ability to work additional time beyond normal work hours during periods of peak demand and time critical projects
