Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day fiscal and administrative support for the College of Professional and Global Education (PaGE)
Perform a variety of technical and transactional duties to ensure the timely and accurate processing of the College’s financial and personnel activities
Track and reconcile budgets, revenues, and expenditures
Verify financial transactions for accuracy and compliance
Prepare standard financial reports using established procedures
Assist in monitoring program budgets and revenue transfers
Ensure that all fiscal records are properly documented and maintained in accordance with University and CSU policies
Serve as a resource for faculty, staff, and students by responding to inquiries regarding employee contracts, pay status, and appointment documentation
Prepare recruitment and transaction forms
Process time and pay records
Generate contract letters for extension faculty
Prepare separation documentation as needed
Assist with troubleshooting issues related to the Academic Planning Database (APDB) and PeopleSoft HR entries to ensure accurate reporting of faculty assignments and payroll data

Required

Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university and/or equivalent training and administrative work experience
Experience providing day-to-day administration of a program, and/or performing a variety of administrative, technical, and analytical work related to operations and procedures
Highly developed quantitative and reasoning skills
Excellent oral/written communications, listening and interpretive skills
Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in the use of MS Office such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Ability to effectively interact with faculty, CSU administrators and staff
Demonstrated interest and/or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment
A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the CSU
Must reside in the State of California upon date of hire

Preferred

Working knowledge of PeopleSoft and other systems such as Element451, Canvas Catalog and point of sales systems
