Responsibilities
Closely working with architects and other team members and groups to develop and build complex applications that meet the needs of FX engineering
Design, development and support of trading venue
Ongoing support and development of cloud services
Develop automated processes to prevent, identify, and fix problems that impact service availabilityIdentify and deliver improvements across a broad range of areas such as cost savings, security, ease of use, & reliability
Qualification
Required
8+ years of total experience minimum, with at least 5+ years of experience in a DevOps Engineering or similar role
Experience in building CI/CD pipelines for large scale applications
Experience with Linux, gradle/maven
Build automation (e.g. Gitlab, Jenkins, Bamboo, Pipelines)
Release automation
Configuration management (e.g. Ansible, Puppet/Chef)
Monitoring, logging, reporting tools (e.g. Grafana, Datadog, ELK etc)
Testing automation
Cloud compute deployment (e.g. AWS, Azure)
Platform as a Service (PaaS) and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)
Ability to resolve problems in a timely, effective, and professional manner
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Self-motivated and self-directed, able to work effectively in a globally distributed team, managing multiple priorities while collaborating with cross-functional teams
Proven ability to investigate complex issues spanning multiple technologies and drive to completion
