Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances and future aims, aligning with Lifestyle Financial Planning principles
Ensure adherence to compliance procedures to safeguard the company by meeting all regulatory aspects of the role
Develop your product, technical and regulatory knowledge to stay up to date with the latest financial regulations
Actively seek opportunities for client growth through referrals and self-generation
Adhere to AML requirements and deliver suitability reports within prescribed timescales
Follow through with clients and providers to ensure business is completed in a timely manner
Escalate any breaches or concerns to a Regional Director or Compliance team member promptly
Maintain a high standard of file quality
Maintain continuous professional development records and comprehensive knowledge of pensions, investments, and estate planning
Qualification
Required
Chartered Financial Planner
Demonstrable experience of delivering high quality, independent advice
Advanced Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with the CII
Proven track record of providing high levels of service and advice
Excellent interpersonal, listening, numerical and IT skills
Strong analytical and research skills
Excellent report writing and written/verbal communication skills
Good organisational, time management, and caseload management skills
Ability to work on own initiative, sometimes for long time periods
Professional, ethical and discreet
Ability to build and maintain ongoing client relationships
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent attention to detail
Preferred
Chartered Fellow status with the CII
