Responsibilities
Support engineering teams with a variety of technical tasks and project-related duties
Assist engineers in the research, development, planning, operational analysis and design highway/roadway projects
Contribute to the preparation of engineering drawings, plans, and documentation
Perform basic geometric design calculations or level of service analysis for highway and roadway projects
Planning tasks and traffic operational tasks
Qualification
Required
In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
Completed coursework related to transportation engineering or highway/roadway design
Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future
Preferred
3.0 GPA
At least a rising Junior
Familiarity with CAD software, such as OpenRoads and AutoCAD
A previous internship related to your field of study
Enthusiasm for learning and contributing to transportation infrastructure projects
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
