Responsibilities

Responsible for developing schedules, daily execution, and reporting status to Operations and Program Leadership
Work with Technical Leads to Design for Manufacturing. Process feedback from Manufacturing and Test Engineering teams to Program team
Attend Customer meetings and reviews as necessary, and act as Operations Lead during Design Reviews
Facilitate Operations, Manufacturing, and Quality participation in design development to identify and address manufacturability, testability and inspection issues
Collaborate with Program Management, Supply Chain, and other functional organizations across the program
Lead the organization in the development and implementation of operating philosophies and business strategies
Visit other manufacturing sites to review best practices
Develop, implement and sustain success metrics, incorporating best practices
Experience with manufacturing of Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)

Required

Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
US Citizenship
Ability to obtain security clearance
Knowledge of ISO9001:2015; AS9100D and QMS adherence
Aerospace & Defense electronics experience, high speed factory experience a plus
Experience managing a cross-functional Operations team
Working knowledge and experience in Earned Value Management and/or comprehensive estimate-at-complete (EAC) establishment and analysis
Working knowledge and experience in manufacturing labor standards (hours-per-unit) establishment and analysis
Experience in the following fields of Operational Excellence: Understanding of lean principles around pull systems, mix/max controls, etc., One Piece Flow or Pull System manufacturing flow, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), 5S+1 Visual Factory, Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP), Gemba implementation
Demonstrated MRP/MES System adherence
