Responsibilities

Collaborate with team members to achieve project milestones
Complete projects crossing different areas of law, balancing priorities and deadlines, including a final project that you’ll share with the full legal team
Communicate with the legal team and other stakeholders to provide project updates and share your work
Proactively seek and provide feedback throughout the internship
Actively participate in and contribute to the legal and broader Airbnb community, like pro bono efforts

Required

First-year law students (Juris Doctorate) enrolled full-time at a nationally-accredited law school
Strong interest in learning about in-house legal practice and about multiple practice areas
Great verbal and written communication skills and interest in honing new communication skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Adaptable and able to adjust plans and manage changes effectively
Strong interpersonal skills and interest in initiating and building relationships and collaborating with teams within and outside of Legal
Passion for the Airbnb mission; experience with the platform is a plus!
Work authorization for employment in the United States is required (CPT/OPT is accepted) - visa sponsorship is unavailable
A cover letter that answers the following questions: (1) Which Airbnb Core Value(s) most resonates with you? (2) What do you hope to gain from this internship? (3) Why would you be a great addition to the Airbnb Legal team?
A writing sample that is no more than 3-5 pages long
